Bottom Ups!

Or as they call them in the window covering industry: "Top Down Bottom Up." That's a shade or blind that can open and close in either direction. It might cost a bit more for the dual mechanism, but the style is perfect for windows that beg privacy, without having to plead a view. (Like mine.) Bottom Ups are available as Roman shades, roller shades, or cellular shades; and in natural fabrics, thermal/solar  synthetics, or plant materials like bamboo and wood. Here's looking at windows from the bottom up, kid.
